Artist Sekar Rajagopal

Sekar Rajagopal lives and works in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

I am an artist and a passionate lover of art. As far back as I can remember, painting has been a part of my life—I began in childhood and later trained for three years in Sri Lanka under the renowned artist Maniyam.

My work is grounded in classical techniques and reflects a strong appreciation for Art Deco aesthetics, combining timeless elegance with a modern touch. Many of my paintings have been exhibited and collected internationally, especially in the United States.

Over the years, I have developed my own distinctive style, growing both technically and emotionally in my expression. I am a full-time artist because I cannot imagine my life without painting.

I primarily work with oil on canvas, drawing inspiration from both the digital world and everyday life around me. My artworks are deeply expressive and filled with emotion.
