Artist Reza Amiri

Reza Amiri

My name is Reza Amiri, a German-Persian artist born in 1979 in Sari, Iran. From an early age, I was drawn to painting, drawing, sports, musculature, and motivation. Deeply inspired by 1980s films like Rocky and The Karate Kid, I’ve always been captivated by their positive messages—something the world needs more than ever today.

My artistic journey was shaped by mentors such as Daniela Moll Wobst (Mainz) and Ilona Lesnaja (Wiesbaden), who taught me the foundations of visual expression. In 2017, I discovered and began refining my own unique style.

For me, art, self-love, and motivation are inseparable. In today’s challenging world, where many are fighting internal battles, my goal is to inspire viewers and remind them of the strength they carry within. I primarily work with acrylics on canvas.

My art is meant to motivate you. Motivation is something beautiful—the desire to achieve something great is a powerful force. I aim to capture that feeling visually. Everyone has the potential to be a winner.

My work is an open invitation and a source of inspiration for all. That’s why I often leave out facial features—so viewers can see themselves in the figures and connect with the message on a personal level.

The human body is a work of art. No one is created ugly—everyone has the potential to transform themselves physically. I see the body like a block of soapstone: with dedication and effort, it can be shaped into one’s ideal form.

I want to capture the beauty of that motivation—the belief in oneself as something truly powerful. The drive and love for oneself in the pursuit of becoming one’s higher self is, to me, one of the most beautiful things in life.

For me, spirituality, art, and fitness are deeply connected and inseparable.
